Perfect Home finds for any Room, Flat or House!
Like I do with my wardrobe I can get kind of bored with the things in my flat. So I thought I should give my place a mini makeover with some cute Home bits. There is so much nice stuff around I could spend a small fortune if I’m not careful so I tried to keep things within my ‘out of work actors’ budget. Here are some of the things I picked up that I think spruce up the place a little especially when I’m having my cosy nights in over the colder months.
To spruce up beds and sofas a little cushion or a new cover is a perfect touch and won’t break the bank. I picked up a great one from TK Max when I first moved in and recently I found an absolute bargain from Primark. Alternatively a Cotton velvet cushion cover at £6.99 from H&M is a inexpensive nice choice which is also very similar to Matalans Large Velvet cushion at £12.00. Next have a lovely Tipped Fauz Fur cushion aswell at £16.00.
I decided I need to display more photo’s especially as I take so many. I got a great bargain at Asda just before Xmas with this silver sparkly large frame, which goes really well in my room. Paperchase have an amazing selection of alternatives and I especially like the Avellino Silver photo frame at £18.00. Next have a beautiful Rose Gold Frame at £10. And Matalan also have a really nice Stainless Steel photo frame at £8.00.
When I moved into my flat we had a little room left to put a kind of tiny kitchen area and we got this really cool tray from Asda which I think looks super stylish. H&M have a really similar one in 2 different colours.
Like most ladies I love having candles in my room and I found the cutest one that doubles up as an accessory, it comes in 3 different colours from H&M at £4.99. Room diffusers are a great way to keep your room smelling great all day long the Bloom Daisy scent diffuser from Paperchase at £18.50 has a beautiful fresh smell and also comes in a candle. Another great candle is Petals Cloche Candle at £15.00 from M&S.
One of the ways to make your room feel a little special is with a beautiful Vase. This cute silver Glass Vase from H&M at £12.99, which is avaliable in 2 sizes, is stylish even without flowers. Another choice is a Ceramic Vase from Matalan at £6.00 and a Ombré crackle Vase from Next at £12.00.
I’d never thought of having a fake plant or terrarium until they made them look so adorable and cute. Some of them are so small and stylish it can be a great added feature to the space. The little set of 3 mini succulents from Next at £18.00 look almost real and fit really well in my room. Paperchase have the really edgy Diomand small terrarium at £20.00. Alternatively a Small Succulent Garden Pot from M&S at £6.00 and a Small Cactus Pot from M&S at £6.00 are sweet and stylish.
