Gluten Free Christmas

My First time cooking Christmas Dinner and it’s Gluten Free!

I have been Gluten free for 2 years now and I have relied on the amazing cooking skills of my mother to wip up Christmas dinner gluten free style. But this year I am tackling it myself and I must admit I need a bit of help. I am not the worlds best cook and I am not very confident but I thought I would give it a whirl. I have found some amazing receipe’s on Jamie’s website but I also don’t want to cook everything from scratch. So here are some of the free from choices I have found that I’m hoping will make for a delicious Christmas Day.

But first let me just tell you about Amazon fresh who I collaborated with on this Post!

Amazon Fresh

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to find out about this little Gem. It is an online delivery service and it’s heaven for gluten free folks. The great thing about Amazon fresh is that you can order from so many different food suppliers such as Whole Foods, Gails, Morrisons and many more. This means you have so many different choices and it’s delivered to your home which I love. These are just some of the things I think will be a great addition to my christmas feast.

Morrisons The Best Free From Gluten Jewel Topped Pudding

Nothing will beat my Gran’s Christmas puddings but I’m hoping it will be a close second.

Morrisons Free From Triple Chocolate cookies

It doesn’t need to be Christmas for me to want some seriously chocolatey cookies but any excuse is fine with me!

Brown & Polson Original Patent Cornflower

I’m going to give making my own gravy a whirl and I’ll need this bad boy according to the recipe says.

Booths Goose Fat

Because I’m trying out Jamie’s roast potatoes I’ll need this. I’ve never cooked with goose fat before but I know it makes things super tasty so I can’t wait to try it.

Doves Farm Plain Flour

As I will be attempting my own yorkshire puddings *wish me luck* I better get stocked up with this. The great thing with amazon fresh there is so many different brands to choose from so if this isn’t what you want there is plenty of other options.

Fudge Kitchen – Gourmet Fudge

Who wouldn’t want to try handmade fudge over the Xmas period.

Fudge Kitchen – Trio of Gourmet Fudge bars

These look so delicious and a little bit of a treat I must say.

Gail’s Quinoa Sourdough

I do like to start Christmas Day with a bacon sandwich and this would be a perfect replacement from normal bread, Gail’s spelt bread is one of my faves so I’m sure this wouldn’t disappoint.

Genius Gluten free sausage roll

For a bit of a snack over the festive period these will come in very handy.

As I have an Asda close to my flat I’ve had to check out what they’ve got to offer this Xmas.

Asda Extra Special British Pork, sage & Caramelised onion stuffing

I don’t think I am that brave to make my own stuffing this year and this looks great.

Asda Extra Special 10 British Pigs in Blanket

I’m so glad I’ve found these as they would be greatly missed at the table.

The Gluten Free choices are ever growing at Tesco so it would be silly to not check them out.

Tesco Free From Chocolate Brownie Pudding

I picked this up with my mum it seems so easy to make and really cute too. It’s also a nice alternative to Christmas pudding.

Tesco Free From 4 Deep filled Mince Pies

Again no mince pies have ever topped my Gran’s but it wouldn’t be Xmas without them so I had to pick these up.

Tesco Free From Profiteroles

As you might have guessed I’m a massive dessert lover and Profiteroles are something I don’t get to have very often now I’m gluten free so Christmas is a perfect excuse to indulge.

There are so many more choices for a free from christmas from the places I have mentioned and ones that I haven’t but these are some of the top picks for me personally. Do you have any favourite’s I should know about?
