top 9 favourite products

Here’s a round up of all my favourite products for the month!

I might be a week late for my May favourite’s, but none the less they are here! It’s been a busy month and the touring Musical I was working on has come to end. It has been amazing to be involved with something that can bring joy and laughter, especially when there has been some terrible times recently.

product review Cetaphil#1 Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser

This is still my favourite and one and only cleanser! After a really exhausting month I know this has helped keep my skin glowing. This is really an underestimated product in my opinion. It is so inexpensive and easy to get your hands on. Boots and Superdrug always have an offer on, so you can’t go wrong! Boots are selling the 236ml for £7.19 so £1.8 off the original £8.99.

Cetaphil moisterizer#2 Cetaphil Moisterizing cream

I recently bought this instead of the Lotion and I love it just as much. I use it day and night, it can be worn under any makeup. And because its richer than the lotion I use less of it and my skin feels really hydrated and plumped. What I love about Cetaphil products is that there fragrance free and won’t block your pores. All their products are non greasy and specially formulated to rehydrate problem skin. Their products are also suitable for eczema and psoriasis prone skin. The moisterizing cream is £10.09 at Boots and Superdrug.

Makeupreview#3 L’Oréal Paris Nude Magique Cushion, Shade 01

I’ve been trying to get my hands on this in my shade for ages. Finally, I have it and it does not disappoint. This is the first cushion foundation I have used and I was surprised at how easy it was to use, I don’t know what I was expecting! I love the coverage and how dewy it is without being greasy. Because of the cushion I don’t waste any product like I normally would. I have paired mine on top of my baremineral tinted moisturizer which I mentioned in a previous post. It gives that added bit of coverage, which sometimes I really need. It’s £14.99 which is pretty cheap for a foundation, especially one that is this good.

L'Oreal Blush review#4 L’Oréal Paris Infallible Blush Paint Palette, The Pink

I’ve been looking for a new blush for a while and I was extremely excited to find a palette with my favourite pink shades. The colours go great with my pale skin tone, and they are really long lasting and pigmented. Definitely worth a try at £14.99 with 5 different shades.

Naked 2 palette#5 Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

I’ve been a big fan of urban decay palettes since I was a teen and have got a bit of a collection going on. This palette is the one I travel with wherever I go as I know I will be able to create a day or night look with it. I think the shades are perfect neutrals for all skin types and they don’t budge. It is a little pricier at £39.50 but the palette lasts for so long and has a wide range of different shades.

Rimmel lipstick product review#6 Rimmel – Kate long lasting Lipstick, Shade 03

I’ve mentioned my love for Rimmel lipsticks before and this is my favourite Nude! I’ve been putting this on top of lip balm at the mo so it’s a little bit more sheer. It’s super easy to wear everyday and looks great with a smokey eye at night. I get a lot of compliments on this shade which is always nice to have. It’s an absolute bargain at £5.49.

L'Oreal low shampoo#7 L’Oréal Paris Elvive Low Shampoo

I talked about this in a previous post and I am still loving it. It’s been great to travel with and keep my hair fresh and cared for. It’s a non foaming shampoo, so more like a cleanser for the hair. It also doubles up as a conditioner, and at £5.00 you couldn’t ask for me.

Dryshampoo#8 L’Oréal Paris Elvive Root lifting dry shampoo

This is my ‘treat’ dry shampoo. It’s a tiny bit more than other dry shampoos at £3.99 but in my opinion, it does a little more. It’s a lightweight dry shampoo that lifts at the root and gives your hair a bit more life. It also doesn’t leave your hair with that white powder. I spray my hair and leave it while I do my make up, then brush it through and good to go.

fragrance Calvin Klein#9 Calvin Klein Euphoria

I’m a big perfume lover, especially as I worked selling fragrance when I first moved to London. This one is an old favourite of mine and I’m happy I’ve given it another go. I used to wear this when I worked in Greece so every time I spray it, it brings back all those memories. It’s Eau de parfum so its long lasting and a steal at £38.00.

These are the products that have made it into my suitcase this month. However, I did a mid May favourite and my number one fav is there!
